I have a degree in Business management and another in Nonprofit management and have sat on many nonprofit Boards of Directors to include the Palm Springs Lions club, the Unforgettables, and others. I moved to Palm Springs in 1994 where I worked with the Palm Springs Police department and then with the Riverside County Sheriff Department and their Search and Rescue teams. I was also licensed as a Riverside County EMT. In 2009 I began raising and training standard poodles along with my wife Barbara, through a local non profit, that go on to become guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired. I am now training dogs with Custom Canine Service Dog Academy to work with Veterans and first responders who are struggling with PTSD. I am deeply honored to be a member of the board of directors of Custom Canines Service Dog Academy.
